| Local makeup up artist chosen as the official Latin Grammys stylist 05:44 PM CST on Tuesday, November 11, 2008 Anayeli Ruiz KHOU.com Makeup artist Pedro Absolo is in the spotlight again. This time it's because he is the official makeup artist and hairstylist for the Latin Grammys. It’s Absolo’s job to make sure everyone onstage looks fabulous.  All of the Latin Grammy performers will first have to pass through Absolo’s hands before taking the stage. He will also be available to the artists at their hotels before the big show. Absolo says he is really excited about the Latin Grammys, but he knows it’s going to be a lot of work. This isn’t the first time Absolo has been part of a big event. In 2005, he was the official hairstylist for the Selena 10th Anniversary Reunion Concert at Reliant Stadium. After the Latin Grammys, Absolo said that he plans to return to his hair studio and keep working on what he does the best: bringing out the beauty in women and men.
